A little of Everything

Today it was hot. Spring summer has come early here in the South. Today the high was at least 81 degrees. I hope my next statement makes as much sense in text format as it does inside my brain. There is something about the heat that makes me feel puffy, sticky and irritated. Which led to this:

Doesn't heat make things expand and cold make things contract???.....unless its water! Haha This was my first hawiian shaved ice of the season! AKA corn syrup and food coloring in a cup. I chose the "Miami Vice" (couldn't.hate.the.name.more.) Its a mix of Strawberry Daiquiri/pina colada. It smelled like sugary sunscreen and was delicious.

Last night I did another Ballet Beautiful workout. Which literally kicked my butt. I am really pleased with the workouts. They are designed to target and engage all the muscles used while dancing without having to have the skill of a dancer. With this workout you really can tone those "impossible areas." And this may sound silly but the music is classical and not some obnoxious pumping music -which I loathe. You can read about it HERE.

Double sucker action. They think the ballet dvd is for them. haha

Lets talk chairs. After moving one of the chairs inside to see how they would look with the table Jonathan and I started having second thoughts about the aluminum colored paint. See...problem is....no metal color paint is ever going to really look like the real thing. It was almost tacky looking. I remembered the pair of chairs in the photo below -I had saved in my Etsy favorites some time ago.

I bought some flat black spray paint for metal to try on another chair frame. I think I prefer the black painted legs. My thought process goes a little like this: A gaudy, shiny, silver lamé dress is not as....flattering as black and white, right? I know this picture looks good but in person the silver color legs were really fake looking.

In other news Zooey Deschanel is the newest celebrity endorsing Pantene. I think I need to switch if it will make my hair look like that!!! I'm pretty sure I have that outfit.....
